Engaging Youth in Food Exploration
Our work, which operates through Seeds of Diversity, is focused on creating opportunities for youth to connect with food systems, learn practical skills, and explore careers in food and agriculture. Our work is carried out through a number of self-directed, inquiry-based projects led by high school age youth across Ontario. We also create and maintain gardens on school grounds throughout our home base of Waterloo Region.

ENGAGING YOUTH IN FOOD EXPLORATION
Young people can and should be spending time exploring food and sustainable practices in environments that are self-directed and meaningful. By providing food systems programming and garden infrastructure, we are working to empower the next generation of agriculture and food experts.
