Do you have leftover seeds from your seed swap or seed library?

We can help circulate them to our representatives who will put them to good use at other community seed swaps. Every week during the winter, we mail books and table-top materials to Seedy Saturdays and Seedy Sundays all across the country, so we can easily include your leftover seeds in our packages. Our volunteers will make sure the seeds get to their local seed swap tables and seed libraries, so you'll know that they won't go to waste.

Organic Vegetable Seed Production

Returning in 2020 with some minor changes that we think will appeal to producers, the Organic Vegetable Seed Production course is open for registration.

This course is designed for students who want to:
* Learn about producing organic seeds.
* Learn about commercial aspects of harvesting, quality, marketing, and breeding seeds.
* Build their own business following their own unique seed-farm business plan.

Suitable for novice growers interested in seed saving or producers wanting to add a new stream to their current business, this course has everything you need to know to get started.

Our Seedy Saturday will be a fun, free event where you can swap and exchange seeds! You’ll find exciting seed varieties that other seed savers are sharing and meet fellow gardeners. We encourage attendance whether you are a first-time gardener or a seasoned expert.

Please bring small, well-marked packets of vegetable, herb, and native seeds. If you don’t have any seeds to contribute to the exchange, come anyway! Some people will simply share their seeds and the interesting stories that come with them.

Enjoy light refreshments.
