Barrhead Seed Exchange

Saturday March 30, 2024      1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Lakeview Events and Weddings -Barrhead
Barrhead, AB

Hi Gardeners! You are invited to the second annual Barrhead Seed Exchange party.

Interest in this event has grown a lot since our first gathering last spring, and we have moved the location to the beautiful Lakeview Events center just outside of Barrhead.

A seed exchange is a fun party where long time seed savers, brand new gardeners, and everyone in between can gather together, learn from each other and make new friends.

Anyone who has excess seeds of any kind is invited to bring those along, and share with others. We will have tables set up for seeds, and hopefully everyone will be able to swap and share, finding a new variety or vegetable to grow.

If you are brand new to gardening and have no seeds to share, please come join us and learn from others!

Tea and Coffee will be available, and if you feel able, a dessert or snack to share would be most welcome.

Your children are welcome here!

This event is FREE
