It leads to the need for more resources such as land, water, and energy to produce and transport excess food, exacerbating environmental degradation and food waste issues. Moreover, this excessive consumption can perpetuate a culture of disposable food, where significant portions of what’s produced are discarded, further straining the supply chain.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Unsustainable Agricultural Practices<\/b><\/p>\n Many conventional farming practices adopted by humans are unsustainable. Excessive use of pesticides and synthetic fertilizers can harm ecosystems and contaminate water sources. Additionally, rising temperatures can alter the distribution and behaviour of pests and diseases, making them more challenging to control.
